Oh how I agree. Turn 62 this year and always doing add on to jeep or building motorcycle. But recently just working on bike for 3 or 4 hours has me waisted. (I don't have garage so work outside under a tent in south florida) Not fun.
Being young and having a couple of good buddies and project jeep, good times.

Yep, just turned 63 myself. Only work on cars/trucks to do maintenance or repairs. Been concentrating on motorcycles the last few years. Currently rebuilding my ‘69 Bonneville chopper I built 35 years ago. I have a building to work in, but my body still tells on me after a few hours of bending over, or laying on the floor.

I have a lift. Lift bolts frame of bike and u can literally strip it to frame without worrying about it falling off. Still doesn't matter though. Body still reminds you, "Hey remember that injury when u were 18, we'll, Hello. I'm back!". Lol. This is lift with my 2013 Yamaha Stratoliner Deluxe.

That’s very similar to mine. I bolted it to the floor to keep it from ever tipping over. As to the original post, it’s got me missing my old CJ5, and the ‘46 I sold a month or so ago.

The CJ's are classic Jeeps!! A friend of ours had one.....as a second jeep. I can't remember the year. He already had a YJ for offroading...but decided to take the CJ out one time. It was a blast until the rust on the gas tank broke thru.

After that...he took it home and he did a frame off restoration on it. We'd go over and help him with it on the weekends. That was fun....Fun times.... It made me want to have a 'project jeep' to work on.

But, life happens...and then you're too old to work on stuff .... because you want to avoid the aches & pains. 😒

So, if you're young and thinking about having a project...don't let the opportunity pass you by.
I second that statement . First Jeep I ever drove was a 1964 Jeep Gladiator with a 4 speed and a 260 tornado bored out to .0060 over . So when life took me for 30 yrs. And they came out with the new Gladiators I grabbed one. Now it is my project vehicle. The 1964 model was my Dads.
