Hang hard top in garage-options

I’ve seen the motor driven setups to store the hard top hanging from the garage ceiling ..... I have to believe there are simpler, manual setups..... I’m thinking using the rubber coated bike hooks, some rope and pillows to get the top up and then using web straps to secure it.
am I over simplifying this? Any pics of home made garage storage for the top?
