The cold won’t stop me from going naked. Back in late November. Last naked ride before the heavy snow arrived. The water was already frozen.

It was a naked red Gladiator
parked on the beach on Galveston Island in 2020
that convinced me to buy one.

I pulled up alongside in my naked '98 TJ,
looked it over end to end,
smiled at the blonde alone in the passenger seat
and said "Beautiful... Nice Jeep, too."

She gave me a great smile back.

I can understand the cop telling me its unsafe to do with the possibility of being injured/ejected. The part that bothered me that morning was him saying only having the seat belt to hold me in wasn't enough to keep me safe. I mean they preach the only way to be safe is to wear your seat belt and hell they will ticket ya for not wearing it...... the comparison to motorcycles and no doors though, with a motorcycle you aren't removing any of the "safety" devices and going down the road. The lack of factory equipment is what they get ya for.
