Going to Tennessee for some time with the family on Tim's Ford Lake.

Leaving Saturday. Plan is to hit Southern Missouri Off Road Park for BOH trails on Sunday. Then on the return trip hit Hot Springs Off Road Park on the way back. Always down to wheel with any of you.

I grew up in the midwest. I have never wheeled out here. This was a dry day. in Missouri. 99 degrees and 110% humidity. Park concept was cool. Camp. Bring your buggy and you can wheel like mad. I ran across a group of old school Broncos like the real ones. All on Dana 60's and 42s.
Not DD by any bit. Got there late and hit Pee Wee's Crossing. Will it guard rail another time.
They hand you a big ass map and tell you to have at it. Interesting to navigate old school. Pee Wee's is fun. In and out of the creek. Take a wrong line and you are quite tippy. I think I hit 26-27 degrees sideways. Even managed to scrape a control arm on the rear frame. Would be nice to go with a group and be rested.

Currently at Tim's Ford in Tennessee. Always love this part of the country. Good people and relaxed atmosphere.
Strummer is digging Jeep and boating. He was embarrassed at the life vest at first. But now he rocks it. Deep lake. Heavy dog. Not taking chances.

From Colorado springs to Memphis? Going from bears and mountains to bugs that'll carry you away and humidity? Hard pass! I love my mountains. Why I moved back West.

Grew up in Chicago. Colorado has changed a lot in 20 years. It's a hard pass for me. Stupid crowded and expensive. I spend as little time as possible there. No music, no food, and no culture. I'll happily sell my house for way over market value and move to a state where I make more money and the cost of living is half.

Hit Turkey Bay in Kentucky on the way home for a quick run. Didn't do anything really tough. But I get the feeling if it was wet, the easy trails would be tough due to the mud. This was a pretty nice OHV Park. $20 to get a vehicle in. Download the map on AVENZA and track you route in real time. All routes are color coded like a ski resort and very well marked. Be sweet to get a group in here and really push the JT. Met a guy with a great neon rig. Very clever indeed. Getting quite the collection of badges.
