I am also skeptical. A fighter jet pilot walks into a Jeep dealer with his lawyer wife and just happens to get one of the 1st Gladiators to be shipped. Sounds like a guy living in his basement to me.

I was ALL OVER this bandwagon.

AND have been man enough to congratulate him.

BUT
He did come in all the sudden with a VIN, that nobody had.
His build sheet didn't have his name on it.
He was a v'walk-in, coming in with a deal nobody else could replicate.
so in this world, I doubted him.

I was wrong.
I should have trusted him.
AND I guess I should trust everyone who just pops up on the internet, I could own half the government of Nigeria if I'd just send them 5k...

Am I the only one stressing out that someone is going to dent the drivers door on the electrical box.

Same issue on the passenger side of the truck. A white car is parked so close beside the truck that it does not look like you can open a door on the passenger side of the truck and looks like no one can open the drivers side doors of the white car. Someone got their drivers license out of a Cracker Jack box.

This dealers lot is incredibly small but that is the most prominent spot from the road.

It looked like to me they would have to move the white car to get it out

ECS is my only real complaint.

Is that like ESS? Lots of guys on here hate that shit. Imagine 15,000 feet up if the engines just shut off that would be annoying.

Just pointing this out. We have not seen a production gladiator without a hitch. I did not order the upgraded class IV hutch and am curious to see what I get. And if it really comes with nothing, hoping it’s as easy as it was with a wrangler to add a hitch.

When you don’t get the heavy duty class IV hitch then you are supposed to get a standard class II hitch on all models, also comes with wiring. I believe that this is a normal receiver tube hitch, looks just like a class IV hitch but is rated to tow less weight. The class IV hitch has the attached as extra. After reading many posts about this I don’t think it’s a hole in the bumper that you put a ball into. But that’s just my best guess.
