I’m considering these lift kits. From past Jeeps, I’ve learned a lift usually sets off a chain reaction of needed mods. These kits seem pretty inclusive for the price. The only thing I can think of is extended bump stops and shocks. Does a 4” lift require drive shaft upgrade or anything else?

Did you ever figure this out?

I’m hearing mixed things from people at the trail with rusty’s 4” and people on a FB group. Metalcloak recommends a drive shaft upgrade for their 3.5” so I want to assume rusty’s should as well. But today I talked to a guy on the trail who is running the 4” with no drive shaft upgrade and says that this is only necessary if you fo with bigger than 35/37 tires. Yet earlier this week I was told on FB that eventually when you flex enough you will break something if you flex alot(mall crawlers need not worry). the guy on the trail was hitting it really hard on 35’s as well so I’m really confused. I‘m considering just doing the shaft upgrade if I go with the rusty’s 4” just for added peace of mind.

best of luck
