So I noticed today for the first time that when my headlights come on the passenger side fender DRL goes out. Driver fender DRL stays on.
Turned the lights from auto to on -same thing
Turned lights to off both come on
First thought light must have burned out. Gladiator only has 12000 miles on .

anyone have a thought where to start to figure this out

Thanks for any help

Does yours have the two bulbs up front?

When you turn on the headlights, the fender DRLs will dim. I'm assuming they use the second, dimmer element to do so. I suspect your thought of a burned out bulb, at least partially, is probably correct.
Mileage has very little to do with bulb life.

Thanks for the direction. You was absolutely correct. Changed bulb. Problem solved.
