For those of you that have the Saddle Leather option (or have seen it in person), in your opinion would it look better with Gobi or with Gator? I realize it's pretty much guesswork at this point, but what the hey . . .

I haven't seen it in person but doing the build online it sure matches the Gator well. That's what I'm going to get.
I'm not sure if I want it to match or to contrast! Contrast, I'm thinking. Or rather, complement.

Whether something will look good or match is in the eye of the beholder. I like the color of the leather and it looks cooler (temperature wise) than black. However, in the 2 JTs that I looked at, the tan looks like an afterthought of a color. Nothing else in the truck has that color on it. They needed to add either 1. some black to the side panels of the seat or, 2. some accents on the doors/dash to draw it together.

Another thought is to order the cloth and get Katzkins in exactly the color that you want. Obviously, you lose the center arm rest in the rear and leather on the dash/center consol.

Indeed so. But like I said, "what the hey". Meaning: let's kick it around for the hell of it.

I like Gobi best, followed by Gator. I'll prolly go with whichever color the Saddle contrasts most. So, hoping the Saddle is darker rather than lighter. Ideally, I'd like to see both combos in person, but that will prove very difficult. Tan and Saddle are very rare on the lots.

That is exactly why I went with black. The knobs and shifts and all other trim are black and there was no option to match the other color choice.

It's gong to look great in Gator (that will be my build), if and when I actually see the darn color.... (other than the Wayout Concept). Still would have liked the Saddle to be darker like my Grand Cherokee, but will look great.

I loathe all black interiors. Utterly boring and often cheap looking. And in a convertible? No way. I'm in the minority here, obviously. I'll take some brown or tan seats to break it up. They're still black on the seat backs, I believe. The new Ram Indigo interiors are beautiful, IMO.

Yeah, leather can be hotter than cloth. My thought is to add seat covers in the hot months then enjoy the leather in the cooler months.

If the saddle is too close to Gobi (too matchy-matchy) then I'll prolly go with Gator, which would be no hardship! I just prefer lighter colors; they stay cleaner looking longer.

I ordered Gobi with saddle tan leather. It will be at the dealer any time now (possibly today but I doubt it) I’m not far from Toledo and it’s been in KZ for a few days. Once I get it I’ll post pictures. Haven’t seen this color combo yet myself lol but I have a Sahara tan 2011 JKU now with saddle leather and I love the tan on tan.

Outstanding, thanks! Congrats on your new JT. How'd your order the top and fenders?

Rubicon, painted fenders, black soft top. I have the body color hard top for my JKU but I don’t use it and it just takes up space when I store it. Waiting for someone to make a tan soft top for JT so I just got the base soft top for now. I have a tan bestop on my JK and love it.
