This happened when my wife had it out, so I made notes on what she said and had her double check them, with the intention of giving them to the service advisor. But then I realized I should ask here also.
Vehicle running, just idling, parked with AC on low and windows cracked, waiting for someone for 15 minutes. The center of the steering wheel got very hot, as did the left button area. Not the steering wheel itself, and steering wheel heater was off. Outside temp was 78. She described it as "not burning my hands" but very hot.
