Hey guys. Just a quick survey. How long would you wait before just cancelling your order and maybe trying again at a later date? I ordered through Travis on May 16 and I am currently still sitting/stuck in D status. I look around at everyone that order the same thing after me and even some that waited for special colors like punkin getting their trucks in and build dates well before mine. How does someone order a rubicon like mine August 1 get a build date before mine. FCA is seriously dropping the ball. I really feel for the guys that ordered even before me. How do they just skip over some builds and build other that require the same parts.
Just curious how long you would wait. Or would you cancel and wait till Jeep gets their head out of a certain area. Let me know what you think. Try to be nice. I know how the internet is...lol

I'd keep waiting I guess. Sometimes options will hold up a truck. What color did you get and with what options?

Ordered 5/6 from Travis and been in kz for last couple weeks. My brain goes to the same place yours is now.

I am hanging on for now.

Let's see...I ordered my Rubicon on 4/27, it went into D Status on 5/15 where it's SAT for 96 DAYS and still remains at D Status as of yesterday...luckily I cancelled my order with my original dealer on June 2nd and picked up my Gladiator from another dealer on June 6th and couldn't be happier with my decision!

I ordered a Sport S with Max Tow and Bedliner and slush mats, will be 16 weeks tomorrow still stuck in KZ status.

Dealer found a Sport S with Max Tow, Convenience Group. and 7' radio (no bedliner or slush mats) so I took that, I went into the dealer and said I see these on the lots in Tacoma, why should I wait any longer? Next thing I know they had one.

I ordered back in April...whatever the first day possible for a non-LE was. My Jeep arrived at the dealer a couple weeks ago. I took a 5 hour round trip to check it out and give it a test drive and talk to the dealer face-to-face for only the second time during this process. Texted him the next day to let him know that he could park the truck out front and sell it while I waited for employee pricing (and Gobi). A week later, he found a buyer...someone willing to buy a buy a Rubicon with a manual, but who, hilariously enough, couldn’t drive it home.

I’ll admit, I’m a patient guy. Knowing that I may not take the truck due to color and a lack of employee pricing made the wait a whole lot easier, for sure. I’m going to tweet the options a bit on my second order. As I’m now waiting for EP, and won’t be playing the hope that it becomes available in time, will make the second wait a LOT harder.

I think it all depends on your situation. If you have a second ride and don't have to return a lease or if your current DD is broken down etc then you are compelled, but I would just wait if it's not the case. I had to wait 3.5 months for my Firecracker Red LE and it was worth the wait for me even though my fave color was Gator. I didn't want to wait 1.5 years for Gator LOL. Another way of looking at this is to make this work to your advantage - start making Gladiator payments to one of your own accounts and this way you have more $$ towards your truck up front so you get ahead... Idk just my $0.02
