Getting a Go Rhino Rockline bumper tomorrow and I want to get rid of the two fog lights and replace them with a 20” light bar. I want to hook the light bar up to the fog light harness. What is the best way to do this so t doesn’t flicker or show the lights are burned out?

Do you have the auxiliary switch package?
I just wired a light bar into Switch 3, didn’t need a 40 Amp connection. I believe #3 is 15 Amps.
Just unplug the harness to the existing lights, it doesn’t throw a code or dash light.

No aux switches and really don't want to install one. Would like to use fog light switch.

I didn’t splice into the factory fog light harness but there is a power and ground in there.
I would cut the harness on the bumper side of the connection and tap.

That is what I am planning on doing, but do I need put a resistor in the circuit so it won’t throw a code?
I currently have the halogen fog lights and didn’t know if switching to led it would throw a code.

The connection from the vehicle to the front bumper for the fog lights is on the passenger side frame rail at the bumper. If you’re ditching the fog lights, I imagine you could use the existing fog light harness in the bumper to fab one up for your light bar. Once the lights are wired up use the existing connection that’s on the frame rail to hook it all up to the vehicle’s system. I have no idea about the wiring diagram though.

As far as a resistor, I guess it depends on the draw of the light bar. I would reach out to @Diode Dynamics and see if they can answer that. They offer LED pods that are plug and play for the existing fog lights on our Gladiators.
