it adjusts the peddle to throttle body reaction according to the setting you choose. You can either delay the throttle body response or increase it. This is done without going thru the PCM. So no changes to the programing are made. Most use it to speed up the reaction making the jeep more responsive. If you have any lag it will help eliminate it.
