We have customers install our products over Hot Heat Headliners. It should be the same process. See the forum post below

Hey! I have these headliners in my Jeep and I love them! They were using an adhesive for a while that didn't get along so well with super humid/hot conditions (100-120° range), but the new high temp. adhesive is amazing. It works very well and has no issues whatsoever. And you have the ability to select which one you need or best suits your needs.

As far as acoustics go, it definitely seemed to help cut down on some of the wind noise traveling over the cab. Though, for me I have a RTT that extends over the cab, so my wind noise is already naturally more significant.

Others may be able to chime in better on that aspect.

Overall, I absolutely love mine and I recommend them to everyone!
