Best size setting for 285/70/17 with JScan. Or best left with the stock 32.25 number in the comp. Want to see collectively what you guys use as a setting.

I went with 32.75” for my Wildpeaks (285/70/17). Manufacturer listed the diameter as 32.8”. They measured like 32.6” installed on the truck at 30 psi

That’s another thing I’ve been wondering about is PSI. I asked about that once on here before and everyone had a different answer from 28 to 40 I just aired down to 33 cold. Trying to find the best street psi for comfort/handling

Jscan tells you to actually measure your tires - mounted on the vehicle and under load. Dont use advertised tire size of manufacturer dimensions. Go out to your truck with a level and a tape measure. Place the level on top of your tire and take the measurement when you have a level reading

33 psi cold is where I like to be too. Mine were only at 30 when I measured because of a huge temperature drop here in Houston a few weeks back.

Yes, and I actually used a GPS and compared odometer readings and fine-tuned the tire size as even measuring was off by a little bit. But using GPS and the odometer comparison I was able to get it spot on.
ROLLING diameter can be different even from what you measure.

As far as pressure - I contacted the maker of my tires - General - and an engineer answered and told me based on the tire size and weight of my truck what I should run. I compared that with the tire's footprint on the ground (he was pretty much right for my truck)
PSI will vary a bit based on truck weight. A heavier truck will require more pressure than if those same tires were on a lighter truck.
