Out of curiosity I did a little research into JD Power and their ratings. They are all over the place but ...
Initial Build Quality seems to refer to the quality of the build (obviously
) but nothing to do with real world usage of the vehicle. To prove the eclectic nature of their studies, they also rate Jeep below the industry average in dependability. After that I found myself in a rabbit hole of "best this" and "best that".
In the end I found it BEST not to look or care what others thought and just enjoy my truck!
