Got some great great JK rims for my winter tires. Scanned with TPMSs at Discount Tire but JT won't detect them. I believe my truck is pre tpms update this summer so thoughts? Do you get a light if one has dropped out? I'm assuming there's a screen you can check each individually?

The jk’s have a totally different mhz than the JL/jt tpms… stupid oem mfg…. So no they will not work with your vehicle.

Depends on what year jk wheels you got if they were 2013 or 2014 and newer (can’t remember the year break) and your jt was built before 6/5/21 they should work, I had aftermarket wheels and tires and put Oem tpms on my 15 jku and then kept the wheels and tires bolted on my 20 gladiator and they picked right up, now when I got my 21 they don’t work anymore becuse it was built after 6/5/21

Discount tire thought they should work and it's a 2018 jk. Not sure why they wouldn't work with my spring 2021 built JT.

Should work as long as your JT was built before June.

agreed, should, but is not. Do you offhand (i haven't check yet, admittedly) if there is a way to check if it's just mad because a single sensor has dropped out? I'm guessing it's possible I grabbed one of the spare rims and that one of them might not have a sensor.

There is a screen, it's under vehicle settings on the center stack. It should show you individually by tire. If one wheel drops out, it will error out on that wheel only.

Going to check now, I figured it was someplace close. Thanks!

It's actually called vehicle *info*. Not settings. Sorry about that.
So, I did check and all four sensors are reading and after some travel psis changed so they appear to be working. For some stupid reason I still have an error light for TPMS. Any ideas on how to reset it or what it might mean. It flashes a few times at start-up then stays solid and lit.
