BUT you know I wanted a Diesel...
I had every intention to get a Carvana quote and call you up to match it.
but I cheated...
I got the Carvana Quote, and ran down to one of the local guys to drive a Diesel.
I knew they had one coming in I liked.
Dude said, well, we can't beat that cat in Iowa, but, let me have my guy look at yours. His guy runs a lap around Super-Duper, runs in, grabs the GM, who runs a lap around, comes in and says, "K, you want how much?"
I high balled him, and threw a number roughly 10 grand higher than Carvana.
He came back and forth, said , "OK, I'll go $1500 less than what you want, but it's the best I got." ($8500 more than Carvana).
And 3 days later (Last Thursday, 05/06/2021, Super-Duper got traded in on what will become Super-Duper 2.

Hoist from Harbor Freight, Amazon, or I got mine here:

(I went wireless)
A couple of pulleys from Amazon to 2:1 more for slowing down than pull power.
a speed strut from Home Depot (cut into 2x4' sections, one to mount hoist into concrete wall, other for the lift rig)
4 straps from Harbor Freight

Buddy texted me this morning,
"Just drove by Hollywood Jeep and saw your old Jeep. When I drove back by 10 minutes later, it was gone. I think someone is test driving it now."
So I just checked, and yup, it appears, good-ole Super-Duper has been adopted.
