JScan options

I want to use my JScan to turn my front blinkers on my bare bones sport into running light like the higher trim models. Should I replace the bulb with a different type/LED. Concerned the blinker bulb over heating because it’s doing something it wasn’t designed to do.

Oracle claims to be making a replacement housing for the sports But I haven't seen anything showing that's true. I snagged a set of Rubicon take off flares for $250 locally and a set of takeoff LED markers for $20 on facebook and swapped everything out altogether. Before that I ran Switchback LED bulbs in the housing so they were white when on and amber when flashing. You would have to use Jscan or a Tazer to get the running light as the marker though. You shouldnt have any issues with overheating. It wouldnt be any different than the light being on at night.

Did you purchase the special cable required for 2018 and newer to use the Jscan.. on their website is the info link on what changed in 2018.
