If you are getting dirty from the stock Overland running boards, you're doing it all wrong. Step ON them, not OVER them.

What’s up Hoosier?! I am taking my time.
Definitely going to upgrade the sound system and put new rims and tires with them offset.

I’d like to do something with the hard top and doors, because I love getting naked.
Hello ,GREENWOOD is that by INDY ?I have a set of tube rails with steps if your interested $100 .I took them off and put the oem rock rail back on my RUBI for rock crawling.
I will take a pic of them at lunch today. Not sure if you can see them in this old pic.

For the stereo, a very simple upgrade of the two upper dash speakers goes a long way. And add poly fill behind those plus the overhead speakers. Check this forum for speaker threads. You can enjoy this improvement every time you drive.

Some rock rails also provide a step. Protection and easier for the kids. I step over it though, so the simpler rails may be enough.

There are a number of little skid plates you bolt onto the bottom of the control arms and shock mounts, exhaust loop, and a few other bits. Nice improvements in protection without much cost or weight. Also available is a metal skid under the front bumper. Weighs a little more but probably would take a hit better than the plastic. Be sure it works with the stock plastic bumper if that's what you have. There are also sliders for the bed as well.

You can get little storage bags which go on the bar overhead in the doorway, such as:
overland-outfitters
They have other cool storage products for the door and behind the back seats.

I just got a simple case from the home improvement store plus some velcro strap and now have a place to keep the glasses case up out of the way.
