JWS fog light issue

Hi guys, I spliced the oem wires to my JWS fog lights, but it wouldn’t turn on. I even reversed one of the lighting and still nothing.
Oem connector is connected, and I have flashcal to change to led setting for fogs, but didn’t since the fog lights have anti flickers built in. Any help would be appreciated.

Fixed. Unlatched the main connector and put it back on. Somehow it wasn’t connecting properly. Weird.

May be not related, but I installed a Baja Designs plug n play kit. Started car and turned on lights and worked for half a second then stopped and couldn’t turn back on. Spent the rest of the afternoon fuming about blown fuses or incorrect wiring while we ran errands.
Then, after dinner they worked flawlessly since, and nothing changed since install.
Wonder if there’s some computer integration at play here?

@mx5red it was so weird, because before I spliced it, I connected everything to the oem fogs and it worked. I also spent the whole day researching, and it just randomly turned on when I removed/reconnected the harness. Oh well, I can finally rest, and search for my next mod.

Well, this am the fog lights stopped working. I’m going to redo all the spliced connection and try to see if that will work. I’m kind of bummed. I’ll also change the Flashcal setting to led even though it already has anti flickers built in.

My last resort is to reattach the pig tails and purchase a plug n play adapter for the fog lights.
