KC Hilites Gravity Pro6 LED - DRIVING beam pattern on A-pillars?

I ordered the above lights in a driving beam pattern because I was thinking I would put them on the front bumper. Now I am thinking I may want to put them on the a-pillar but I am worried about bouncing light off the hood. Was going to go with a spot pattern for the a-pillars.

Use is for mostly dirt trails or on the road. Preference would be to stick with the driving pattern since they are street legal and put them on the a-pillar. Just curious if anyone has done this with the Pro6 LEDs and what kind of light they get off the hood from it, if any.

Other option is to stick with the front bumper. I have a WARN low-rise bull bar so I can either mount the lights inside the bull bar (which I have seen many people do) or by some clamps and mount them on top of the bull bar.

This video from KC Hilites may have answered my question. They installed the exact same lights I ordered with the driving beam pattern on the a-pillars. Would still like to hear if anyone has an experience with this beam pattern on the a-pillars.

I put KCs on my A pillar with spot beams and I still get some hood flash

I also have a basic light bar on my front bumper with a combo spread/spot pattern and it honestly defeats the purpose of the spots. I add them for extra light when its really dark but at the end of the day I'd be fine with just the light bar

Next Jeep I will just do lights on the front bumper, and will do some kind of combo or driving light beam

If I was you, I'd start out with a pair of the Pro 6s you want in the Wide 40 pattern and if you want more light add another pair in the driving or spot pattern

I have the driving beam pattern on my bumper and theyre between a spot and a flood. You will probably have to aim them pretty high to avoid hood flash.
