Key FOB Damaged 2014 Grand Cherokee

My father-in-law has a 2014 Grand Cherokee. He has somehow damaged the key fob and the buttons will not work. It is not the battery because some of the buttons are cracked. His local dealership has closed down which is a problem for him. He is legally blind and my mother-in-law does not drive very far from home. I won't be visiting for a while. He uses the fob to unlock the doors and to remote start for my mother-in-law.

Can a key fob be ordered online? What information would be needed to order one?

I bought a cheap replacement for a WJ Grand Cherokee back in about 2018 or 2019.
You'll need a locksmith or dealer to program it, though
(my father was killed with the fob to his WJ in his pocket - I bought the Jeep from is estate and, well, the fob was kind of messy and things got inside it)
I later found one I had here from a WJ I had totaled and had it programmed to the Jeep as well.

The fob is generic for any Grand Cherokee of that series - the Jeep has to be programmed to accept the fob.
