Obviously, Jeep doesn't agree with you. That style FOB is entering the fourth model year of production with no reported changes. They regularly do focus groups and seek input from owners.

honestly, they need a 10,000' reviewer after all the engineering to call out the sumbitches when they deserve to be called out, and these particular sumbitches deserved to be called out on that fob, 2020, that fob should be able to do the calcs for lunar landing but it unlocks doors and allows a button to be pushed when inside...face palm, face palm, face palm

if they want to stay ahead of anyone else, specifically the bronco variants taking a run at them, 1. fix the facking fob and 2...to develop a better relationship with current Jeep loyalists and draw even more over to the rebellion, Jeep should develop a killer relationship(or buy them outright) with eaton and whoever makes the gears/axles for these solid axle beauties and off factory ordering process, 3.55 up to 5.13's and whatever lsd's or lockers you'd like at either end...i doubt any other manufacturer would be able to compete with that, and still being the only solid front and rear axle game in town...the loyalists would be even that much more loyal, should pull all the overland sales from the rest of the game too(goodbye toyota, you didn't belong anyway, people should stop wasting their money on you only to come join the rebellion), we should be able to ask for 4.88's from the build stage, true-tracs or e-lockers as well, being solid axles both ends offers a huge advantage that isn't fully being exploited yet by Jeep, tell my i'm wrong?
