I had the stock audio system with the 5" radio. I replaced the radio with a 7" Alpine w android auto/car play. I also swapped out the dash and roll bar speakers with Kicker speakers and added the sub. It's not anything crazy, but just what the truck needed. Now my wife wants to take it more often.Do you have the Premium system with the OEM sub? If so, did you keep the OEM sub along with the HS10?
Understanding subwoofers and their limitations I am still impressed with how well this thing does its job, especially considering how little commitment to space and installation is required. It won't scrape the bottom, but it thumps away solidly in its wheelhouse frequency range, while managing to avoid sounding hollow or plasticky like OEM "subs" often tend to sound. Great solution even with the compromises.Good to hear, I’m about to install this as well. I’m going to be taking out the Alpine sub and putting this in its place.
