I installed the ArmorLite flooring several months ago and I’ve never been able to get the driver side kickpanel trim to fully go back in. It’s not terrible in this photo but it often separates even more. Anyone else have this issue or ideas on how to resolve it?

When you placed the plug, was it perfectly centered? I ask, because it took me hours to try to force everything into place just so to get it lined up. When I did, everything locked into place perfectly.

I believe so. I’ll confirm but the plug is nice and tight

Not just tightly in there, but centered. If the plug is centered, through and through, everything about your install should fall into place like a key into a lock.

You might also want to look and see if any of the attachment points on the back of the floor trim are seating correctly.

It took me over 14 hours to take everything out of the jeep, install the flooring, and then reinstall everything bit by painstaking bit. Still the hardest work I've ever done on a vehicle, but worth it in the end.

Keep us posted.

PS: Its a little bit creepy looking at your photo, because I have the same step guards in mine. Deja vu.

Thanks man, I’ll have to give everything a good look and see
