Im looking at a set of used kikbax, they came off of a ‘17, would the work on the galdiator or is it ‘18 and up only

So I have a set of kikbax since my first jku in ‘14. So there’s a bracket that goes in between the door area and the hook where the door strap goes. I had to modify this bracket to extend out into the hook. To get it to latch in and hold tight, I have to loosen the hook bolts, install the kikbax and then push the hook over the bracket and tighten them back up. This is due to the vehicle design change from jk to JL. Kikbax does make a JL/jt version which would be easier to mount... I decided to repurpose mine.
