Got some new wheels and tires mounted up yesterday... they looks way too good not to share!
Wheels - Started their life out as KMC Machete Crawls. Part number KM22979050538N. 17x9 -38mm offset, so 3.5" of backspacing. Got the rings/center caps powder coated satin black and the wheels themselves powder coated in a 3 stage metallic red. Absolutely love the way they came out!
Tires - BFG Mud-Terrains in 37x12.50-17. Obviously only a few miles on them but I am so surprised with how quiet they are! We'll find out soon enough how they do offroad.
Now... for the pictures!
They definitely have some pretty serious 'poke' but that's a personal opinion thing and I am not concerned about the commonly noted issues with running poke. It's a Jeep. Rock chips on my door hinges don't concern me in any way and if I was concerned about MPGs, I definitely wouldn't have bought a rolling brick.
Close-up photo of the powdercoat... so stoked with how they came out!
