Finally got around to installing my fire extinguisher after months of it sitting under the backseat in a box. Nothing like a hurricane for motivation!

Installed the ARB Bondi full width and a Badlands Apex 12000 winch. Pretty stoked to be able to self-recover. Now I need to build a recovery bag to put all this gear in and leave in the Jeep.

Not glamorous, but trying to fix this annoying b-pillar leak with the Jeep Leak Fix Kit. It only happens during or after a heavy rain and under braking, which happens fairly often during summer storms and commuting in the Tampa area.

The box comes with everything you could need for the installation videos on the company's site. Pretty awesome.

First problem was the door seal doesn't look like the one in the video (first pic with guy wearing blue gloves), nor does my seal have the "twizzler" inserts.

Their noodle installed after I had to cut two tabs. Plus the noodle's end came off as soon as I conditioned it and put it in the door seal. Super fun times fishing it back out and getting the mesh back inside it.

Pretty significant difference in size here.

Pretty nice, flush finish after re-installing the seal.

I only installed the driver side noodle so I can test it out. I intended to do both the driver and passenger b-pillar, then install the door seals as a preventative measure. I also sent the company a note asking if there is anything else I should do.

Quick update: Tracie from customer service already responded to my "Contact Us" form submission. Pretty incredible, since it's the Fourth of July. Apparently there was a packing mixup with Bronco and Jeep parts since mid-June. They're rush shipping a new kit and an Amazon gift card. Pretty incredible customer service considering it's a national holiday. They are really going above and beyond in my book.

Tested out the "maybe wrong" noodle in the car wash today, which failed. Switched out the red shorter noodle with the longer one and decided to wrap the door with the gasket since the company doesn't want it back. More heavy rains expected tonight and I'll get to test while commuting next week.

After chatting with Nixon on the phone, finally figured out the issue. I ran the weather stripping on the freedom top and now the cab has stopped leaking. Top notch customer service from Jeep Leak Fix!

Also sealed up the rest of the cab. It may be in my head, but it seem significantly quieter. I have been able to keep the stereo at 15 instead of 20 during my commute for podcast.

Also finally fixed another emerging issue. The rear locker light came on a couple months ago. Thankfully it seems to be a common issue with the sensor in the axle getting gummed up. A quick harness order from Z-Automotive made quick work of the light. I’ll test the lockers out in a couple weeks when I take her back out.
