Just got a call from my dealer. My LE just moved to D1 status and has estimated ship date of 5/20/19!

Just got off the phone with the concierge and she said the LE won't start production until end of the month. So I wn't see them until end of June, early July.
I believe they are giving you a canned safe statement. There are a lot of LE's with ship dates mid to late this month. Which puts them on par with other custom orders I have done in the past. 6 to 8 weeks. Many will take longer due to the large volume of orders. I believe we are two weeks away from seeing the first pics of an owner with an LE.

I hope so. I am starting to have 2nd thought about the LE. Considering a big chance I might not get below MSRP on this LE while I will get invoice on a fully loaded rubicon.

Completely agree, pulled trigger not because of the few special options but because didn’t not want to wait. Seriously may bail on it if a loaded rubicon comes my way. And you’re right, def will get a better deal. This launch was a complete cluster.

AS I'm finding out, there are lots of Rubicons out there below MSRP or at invoice but none of them has the front trail cam. What a conundrum... =P First world problem....

I am getting frustrated with this also. I thought with the LE order, we would be prioritized. Granted FCA never said that. But 2 months before production starts?
DOn't think I can take it anymore... Already start looking at autotrader for a rubicon..... Who wants an LE? is this thing transferable?

I'm pretty certain you cannot transfer but you absolutely can cancel or just not purchase. If anything you probably will be at risk of losing your deposit but small potatoes if purchasing a lower priced Rubi JT in the end.

I think they really screwed up when they called it launch edition. If it’s not going to be the first delivered, call it limited edition and people wouldn’t be so annoyed.

The deposit is refundable at my dealer. But only after someone else purchase the car.

My dealer called today and said that once the VIN has been assigned it's 2-3 weeks for delivery. Anyone find out if there's a way to track the build once a VIN has been assigned?
Stop it everyone ... I just keep reading this over and over again to keep me from going insane lol:CWL:

As long as it is a 2020 year model, the Launch Edition can carry that moniker. You have to look at the long term.. this is a first year new vehicle. So it’s really more of a commemorative edition and not so much a first out of the gate edition.
Shit. That’s actually a pretty good break down.. I even successfully incorporated some big words! I should post from the toilet more often!

I called Chrysler Friday and gave them my VON. They provided me with my VIN. Sent it to the dealer. He will call the zone rep for updates. I’ll post if I get true LE delivery info.
