I am looking for Ideas for some upfront lighting options.
I've already got factory LED head lights and fog lights.

I'm planning on lights for the front bar and perhaps some A-pillar lights.
I prefer round and for them to be LED.
The kicker is..... I don't want to spend and arm and a leg for them. I like the MOPAR lights, just NOT the price.

I'll be adding the aux switch LASFIT when I do the lights.
I already have the switch kit from them.

A-pillar lights are not a bad choice. Installing these LED lights on my Dodge RAM has not only added more features to my truck, but they look great. These LED lights add a cool flash to your truck without drawing attention, as LED light panels usually do. They give a cool, clean look with the backlighting underneath them and are not obtrusive almost like the Vont smart light bulbs I have installed in my house. And I didn't have to mess around with the installation for a long time.

I really hate to contradict your post…. Lighting really is a you get what you pay for deal. Small performance lights can and usually do out perform large cheap off road lights.

What are you intending to use the lights for? Highway in conjunction with your high beams (meaning they need to be DOT approved)
Crawling through trees and canyons?
Going fast down dirt roads?
Etc?
My best lighting combination was running JW speaker TS4000 on the front bumper for “go fast” the lighting really is amazing at lighting up donkeys on dirt roads and even some highways…. https://www.jwspeaker.com/products/led-off-road-lights-model-ts4000/
These are also brighter and fill in better than Baja Designs LP9’s ? pissed a few folks off once they realize how much these cost in comparison…

And I ran these just in front of the mirrors kicked off at a 30~* angle for ditch lights

The price is ?…. It sucks. Our insurance deductible is $500…. So I figure this- if it keeps me from hitting a deer, cow, or donkey when buzzing down a dirt road then we are good to go.

Trona wildrose rd, HWY 190 CA, HWY 95 NV OR ID, HWY 127 CA….
Well worth the $$…. Flip these on, on an empty highway (not legal…) you will see EVERYTHING.
Off road…. They are game changers.
We had a pioneer rack on our last Jeep…. Ram TS1000’s on the sides and rear too…. The kids loved rock crawling in canyons with these at night. I don’t see a good place on the JT to mount these though- unless you have the mini pioneer platform.

He's 100% right. I went KC....cried one time in the wallet.
Glad I did.

There are endless possibilities when it comes to the Lights, style, brackets and cost. I happen to buy all MOPAR accessories such as the winch guard bar for the steel bumper, a pillar brackets and the 5 and 7 inch lights. I didn't want to crush the bank so I found whole sale places such as BAM and ALLMOPAR that put them in a very competitive price range to compete with KC, DD and larger quality brands. I am super happy with the decision, but I'm also a purest that lives by the motto " MOPAR or NO CAR".

1973. It's my son's restoration project.
He's planning a Subaru motor, but he's also a level 1 Subaru Tech. I may convince him to keep it air cooled. But once he gets it running, he gets the title.

I live in the Northeast. Our winters are very salty and tend to destroy electronics.

What of the above brands has the best warranty? I know Diode Dynamics has an 8 year warranty. Does anyone else have a lifetime warranty? Or at least longer than 8 years??

Thanks.

Don

p.s. To anyone thinking of buying from Offroad Alliance, I got my Smart Cap from them and customer service was excellent.

Thank you for the kind words! As for warranties, Rigid and Baja Designs both have a lifetime warranty on their products. I'm from MA and my Rigid lights have lasted several years through harsh winters and multiple cross country trips. Still using mine today that I've switched over 3 different trucks and they work like they did the day I got them. Baja lights are built with the same quality. I'd be happy to go over some options and get ya a good deal!
