Which one's Shadow?

We lost Shadow in early 2011. He had a bad tumor around his intestines and was 15. We were advised that the surgery would be rough on him and only push the inevitable out about 6 months - much of that would be recovery.

Shadow was sooo connected to my wife - he followed her everywhere and cried if it couldn't find her. Of course she teased him by hiding behind doors and making "pssst" sounds. When he wasn't able to find her he'd sit in the hall and cry.

He inspected the cupboards to make sure they were empty when we did a kitchen remodel -

Misty, the calico, passed a couple of years before Shadow -

Punkin was fun - he lived to be 19 but then things gave out, he lost motor control in his rear half and so we lost him the same day in 2011 as Shadow........... it was a tough Sunday.
Punkin liked to carry around a toy football and drop it at our feet for us to toss so he could go chase it and bring it back to us. He liked it being tossed down the stairs, he'd run after it and bring it back to us.

Punkin had to inspect every quilt my wife made.

We adopted in Pickle in 2011 - Yawnie had found a kitten laying in front of our garage. Yawnie just laid there and watched it as if he was guarding it. We knew we were going to adopt the Tonks in a few weeks, so we took the kitten to the ARL. 2 days later we changed our mind and went back - but it was in mandatory quarantine and could not be adopted out again yet. So they showed us other kittens. Pickle met us in the "let's get acquainted room" and literally walked all over me - he inspected my hair, ears, face, and checked me over thoroughly and finally approved.
It was the 4th of July weekend so there was a special on adoptions. There was a discount if the cat had stripes.
What do you think? Did he qualify?

Pickle went downstairs to the top of the cat tower to retrieve a toy he likes to present to Barbara if she has left the room. If she has left the room where Pickle is, Pickle will go get this toy and find her and drop it next to her.

And of course, my good buddy, Yawnie who I lost this summer. We figured it was likely 16, bad thyroid issues and old age got to him.
