I'm going back and forth...I think 24 is going to go up and I'm not sure how I feel with the added electronics in the dash. I haven't seen any official color/option changes.

These two are similarly optioned...new price of the Rubicon was 63 according to the sticker. They deleted the power switch....is that easy to re-add?

I'm not going to vote just yet. What to buy really depends on how you are going to use it. Are you planning to off road with it? In FL, most trails are more flat and muddy, either could be a good choice. The flat trails lend themselves for high speed runs, where the Mojave excels but in mud holes, having a front locker could be essential.

As I live in NC and mostly go to places with rocks, The Rubicon is a much better fit. Crawling is low and slow. My Rubi is not going to be the dedicated rock crawler but could end up in places to recover my rock crawling JK and the Rubicon is a much better fit.

IMHO, White sucks. It's way too hard to keep clean.

I just went thru the same dilemma that you are going thru. I ended up with a used Rubi with 3670 miles on it as it had more things on it than the new Rubi and was $47K OTD.

I looked at a 2024 Sahara JLU while I was at the dealer and felt the way the new display and dash were designed looked like a first year design student would have done. Very excited to hear about the 12" screen, very disappointed in how it was implemented.

There is no question that the 2024 is going to go up in price. In the JL's the cool colors are now a $795 upcharge.

My feeling was to let the PO take the depreciation hit. I was comparing Rubi to Rubi though.

So, with not knowing how you plan on using it, I would lean to the Rubi. Do what best fits what you are going to do though.

Depends on how much you want to wait, and if there's any special use-case to suit (rock crawling Rubi, smooth Mojave, new features or maybe increased towing for 24).

Used will always be around, so if that's an option then waiting to see on the 24 doesn't hurt too much. Unless this specific used Rubi is a rare condition/option/price, there will be more. Once 24 comes, new 23s will get discounted, and more used 23s may appear as well. So you're not really losing on new/used 23 and down, unless you're special ordering the exact features wanted in which case this is your last shot at non-24.

I agree with Cranbiz, what are you most likely going to do with it. I choose a mojave because of the "softer" ride at higher speeds. case in point; This past weekend the trails we were on had a lot of washboard roads, I was able to cruise over these sections faster and smoother then the Wangler Rubi 392. When we got to easy / moderate rock passes the wrangler was a better fit. All this to say though, they both performed flawlessly and were awesome.
