I had the opportunity today to attend the 75th D Day Anniversary Celebration at the National D Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia.

There were about 15,000 people there today including over 100 D Day Veterans. Vice President Pence gave the keynote speech and everyone had a great time.

There were over a dozen different planes that did a flyover, most of them from the WW2 era from a biplane to the B-17’s of which there are only 11 left that are flyable.

When the C-47 flew over the narrator shared a speech by Dwight D. Eisenhower who credited the victory of the war to 4 things:

1. The American manufacturing capabilities.
2. The C-47 cargo plane
3. The bazooka
And..
4. The JEEP!

If you ever find yourself near Bedford do yourself a favor and visit it. You will not be disappointed!

Thanks to all the veterans for their service.

Jeep followers need to pay more attention to history. I'm noticing a departure.

Also, don't forget the garand.
