Hello there. I am Hans Tadema from The Netherlands. English is not my native language, so sorry for the ”accent”.
I am a very proud owner of a 2020 JT Rubicon Launch Edition. First very impressed of the wheels and the size of the Jeep. I will keep it short from here.
Building sofar:
First upgrade to 35” tires plus Leveling kit (front + 1,5”) spacer lift. Very fond of till I got used to it. (And that comes fast …)
I decided to go bigger. 37” plus a 3/4” daystar rear comfort ride spacer lift kit. Because of the width of the tire I needed a wider rim. I chose the Quadratec Morphic Wheel and reproduced the Red Willy’s on it. I like the stock look.
The short version:
I am a Jeep and offroad-beginner and have a JT Rubicon on 37” wheels. Front spacer lifted 1,5” and Rear spacer lifted 3/4”. I like the stance and the comfortable ride.
But I am getting used of the modifications and my Jeti can use a little extra lift.
I will be honest to you. The truck does not need more than it already has. More than 90% of the time I drive on paved roads. The rest of the time in muddy conditions. No Rock climbing, no extreme offroad. Our country is as flat as a pancake.
Why lifting it more? It looks so good!
I was thinking of lifting it another 1” or so. That will not be possible with more or bigger spacers I heard. So it’s time for the complete package I guess. With other springs and shocks?
Question: What kit do I need for my usage? And more important. How may inches?
A Rubicon is already lifted, I added spacers and I want to add 1 inch. What is point zero? How much is it lifted right now?
Thanks in advance for your help!
