Ok So I know you can lock the rear seat back which is awesome kudos for Jeep allowing that to happen but why in the world can you not lock the seat bottoms? I had a Ford truck and that was a genius idea. So Jeep can you make a mod for the rear seat bottom to lock? Also, does anyone know if the new power seats are interchangeable with the older Gladiators? Technology is great and advances all the time but my wife is still short and wants to see other parts of the Jeep other than the Dash as a passenger ;)

You can look through this thread. No solutions but might spark and idea.

That was the main reason I designed my Under Seat Bin. The seat brackets lock the seat down to the bin.

I’ve got the @813 Fabrication & Design locking underseat bin for this reason. You can also hold way more stuff in this than the stock bin or storage box. If you look where the OEM Jack is mounted, that whole space becomes useable and lockable. I carry a loaded (65lbs of tools)Atlas 46 Yorktown tool roll in mine on one side and my awning straps, WaterPort hoses, and miscellaneous stuff on the other. I’ve got a locking rifle mount attached to the front. This bin a great product and solves another factory oversight. The locks work fine and there’s no rattles. Because it sits up on the stock stanchions that the OEM box mounts to, I added some additional supports made from sections of 1.5 inch PVC pipe (easy, cheap) to go between the basket and the floor. You can’t see these but they support the YorkTown and all my crap inside it.

More pics. I carry an entire tool set with me. I can pretty much do anything working out of the truck assuming it’s metric. I carry an assortment of stakes including sand stakes, rope, tie downs, etc. All of this wouldn’t fit without this bin. It would be really difficult to get into this. They’d have to destroy the seat and or bin. I’ve added plastic covers to the molle so someone can’t just unbolt the rifle mount by fishing a wrench through the molle. The wiring for the electronic lock goes under the floor liner and exits at the back of the seat.

Does the gun "rifle" mount still have or use "handcuff" release keyway, if so I'd do something about that. Not asking you to respond on open forums about it. Just a point for anyone who has some of the same setups. I had to disassemble one to remove Gov. Issued M4a1 a time or two. ;):like:

By the way I definitely like that setup.

It uses a proprietary key that’s not a handcuff key and it has to be inserted from underneath. It’s difficult to do this if you have the key. It would be a nightmare to attempt to pick.
