I ordered mine with m/t tires. I’d take them in the sand without a second thought if I lived near sand. It’s all moot now since I replaced them with bigger k02’s. To each his own.

From my experience Mts are great in the snow. They may have a case for compact snow and ice not being great but its all i will run on a jeep and have had no issues.Surprised to see several comments of MTs being good In snow. MTs are generally not good in snow, Falken MTs, the optional MT tire on the JT are not snow rated and Falken rates them a 3 out of 5 for winter performance, the Falken AT3W are 3pmsf rated and Falken has winter performance at 4.5
Yup MD guy here. Ordered the Mojave except with the standard tires as they are getting sold first thing and 37 trail gapplers amd methods going on within the first week!In the Northeast I can see a use case where someone wants the best road performing Gladiator so they get the Mojave. But they also play on the power line trails or logging roads that can be muddy.
Though this is a great video and shows what I suspected but wasn't sure of. That mud tires, designed to dig down are not great on sand.
Thanks for the info.
