Yeah I just checked, mine is up to date.

Hmm.... I could easily just buy a smaller size USB flash drive/stick but I'm a music junky and I selfishly want to have it all and figure out how to do this like others have.

Yeah man, yanking your chain and showing my age at the same time. Ya might be on to something with your thumb drive being too large, I've run into issues with some game/security cameras that would not recognize SD cards larger than 16 meg.

Well I think I may have figured it out:

I reformated to NTSF.

Instead of dragging my itunes music folder, I clicked into the music folder and moved all of the folders with the listed artist.

It used to be:

Music/Itunes/Itunes media/Music - and I would drag that music folder to USB.

But now I clicked into music folder and selected all of the artist and moved to USB.

It took just a few minutes to index everything - and all of the music seemed to have appeared and have been read by uconnect.
