I’m all-in on that retro slatted rack. But it’s gotta work with a bed cover. Deal breaker...

And can you explain the rationale on putting the ladders over the wheels? It seems better to move them behind the wheels and make them tall enough to act as corner steps. I just don’t see myself stepping on the tires to load/unload or access a tent after a few beers.

Also could you please tone down the logo or make it a delete option? I’m not really a Russell Crowe fan. ;)

We have been offering ladders on our racks for many years now. Most people find the tire to be a great first step. For the overland rack we will have two locations for the ladders - one over the tire and one near the rear of the rack.

The logo in the picture below is a vinyl decal we affixed to the rack for the show. The only logos we ever place on our products are tastefully small stainless steel name plates.

@Maximus-3 do your racks require the trail rail?

Everyone seems to be mainly interested in the bed rack, my questions, are mainly for the roll bar/ sports bar. When are you guys expecting those to be available for purchase? Also, do you guys plan on having modular add ons for that component as well??

The Sports Bar rack is coming along nicely, still in the manufacturing phase. Best estimate 4-6 weeks until they are ready to ship.
We will try to develop and offer as many accessory mounts as possible.

This is quite the dilemma. The Overland Rack will definitely hinder any plans to haul a motorcycle or lawn tractor — or sitting in the bed enjoying the view. The Sports Bar looks great (well proportioned) but I have trouble imagining its utility other than mounting some lights. What am I missing?

Both racks can be uninstalled in less than an hour, which would allow for an occasional large item haul. You aren't missing anything...our Overland Rack will provide much more utility compared to the Sports Bar Rack.

@Maximus-3 is it possible to mount the roof rack to the top of the overland rack or perhaps an option for a basket for the top of it for those people not looking to mount a RTT?

100% possible.
We toyed with the idea of mounting a platform on top of the overland rack for show-off purposes. But some of the higher-ups squashed the idea because essentially you are just mounting a rack on top of another rack, and they didn't see the point. But I knew some people would want to do that!

Yeah, the only thing I'd mount up top is A) Kayaks if I need the bed space for camping gear, or B) Solar Panels for longer term off-griddy-goodness.
