In anticipation of my original tires needing replaced within the next year or two I'm interested in buying a set of low mile take-off tires from someone who's upgrading after purchasing. Maine/NH/Mass preferred. Specifically interested in a 33 inch (LT285/70R17) Falken M/T or A/T.

I've seen a guy on NH Craigslist who seems to get a lot of low mileage take offs and sells them. Price is a little up there though

I decided to get new tires, instead of take-offs, from Discount Tire for three reasons: 1) tire warranty; 2) similar cost vs. take-offs; 3) chose the E rated, 10 lb (each) lighter 255-80-17 which are stock width (10") and 0.3" taller than the Rubi size that are only C rated but wider at 11.2". I prefer narrower for snow traction, less chance of rubbing suspension, etc. components, less tendency to wander on the highway.
