I love the Manistee area. I've snowmobiled there and caught a 25lb King Salmon just outside the mouth of the river in Lake Michigan.

Are there Jeep trails near there?

Gorgeous country up that way. I do know Drummond Island...I've done the Marblehead Loop up there twice.

Quite a network of light/medium trails pretty much everywhere north of 10, can almost drive from Baldwin to Traverse City on the west side and barely touch dirt if you wanted to.

I was out scouting camp sites for in a few weeks, so I'll have more photos and videos, I'm sure the snow is gone now, but last weekend, there was enough of it you had to stay on the throttle to not sink down, so I limited the trail riding.

There are ORV trails all over the area....and with a street legal Jeep, there are endless two-tracks to explore.
