So it seems the slammers are great for gaining some headroom and seat angle pitch while the misch bigboy brackets are great for gaining legroom. However neither does both. Has anyone tried to modify a misch bigboy bracket to accommodate slammers? I installed the bigboy brackets but I was quite disappointed that I lost as much headroom as I did. I actually bought the slammer kit also thinking I could somehow use it with the misch big boy brackets but I did not put nearly enough thought into it before I made the purchase. So I have both kits. I might pull the brackets out and just see how the slammers feel. My issue really wasn’t a need for more legroom But I like to be as far away from the dash and steering wheel as possible when I drive. Makes it feel as though there is more cabin room on longer trips. Meeting a guy tomorrow who might have the ingenuity and mechanical skills to modify a misch bracket to accommodate slammers But was curious if anyone has done anything similar to gain legroom and headroom. Jeep has really made this modification difficult with all the s*#! in the way and funky angles. Sure wish there was an aftermarket low profile seat available …that would be cool. I know this subject has probably been beat to death already but I don’t recall reading anything about big boy bracket and slammer combos.
