Hello, new to the group. Just bought a Mojave JT, and I am enjoying it. I recently Installed the Mopar Rear Box Rock Sliders (from the Rubicon) and wanted to share the install details.

Some trimming of the Mojave lower rear plastic bumper is needed, and removal of some rear bumper pieces. I will share some photos soon.

Pics of pieces from the install. I purchased everything from the dealer, but I discovered that the lower bolt on the inner bracket that mounts to the frame is larger than the other 2 bolts, and the service information at the dealer is wrong. I will be making a trip back to the dealer to get the correct lower bolts for the bracket to mount to the frame.

Looks great!
I'm waiting on the Moto built (USPS was supposed to drop off 12/31)version of the frame bracket to install factroy rear bed rails. Question, I have not heard discussed is , do you mount the frame bracket and then hold up the rail and just keep trimming until it fits. I would like to do mine without using the trim piece, and am thinking between being anal and my OCD, I am hopefull for an 1/8" gap all around.....Jack

Hey Jack... I did install the Frame Bracket first and left it loosely mounted, then positioned the rock guard rail in place. I then took a marker and traced out the shape around the bumper, where it would interfere. I used a Dremel tool and cut the plastic bumper piece to fit the rock rail.

The sliders have a list price of about $180 each. The inner brackets are about $100 each, list price. There are cheaper options out there.

I know Quadratec sells these Mopar rear box rock sliders, but they call them sill box guards. Not sure if they sell the inner brackets to attach to the frame.

Jscan is right, you can get new Mopar rear sliders for about $300 shipped from Benny on forum here (allmoparparts.com), and brackets are just under $100 each, I went with Moto Bilts version that replaces factory braacket . They just arrived an hour ago $210 shipped., very impressed!.....Jack

PS: Best bet is to get them from somebody selling take offs , but they are hard to find it seems.
