for those interested I've been jumping my JT since I got it. I purchased the Sport model (not even the S trim) so I have manual doors and windows, along with a 6 speed manual transmission. Upon delivery i installed the mopar lift kit and started to test the capabilities right away. The first video is in Kern River hitting a sharp jump at 30mph. I hit much bigger jumps in barstow and totally trashed one of my bumpstops. Since I found all the breaking points (bumps stops, gear ratio, and shocks), I've upgraded the important stuff. Now Running FOX DSC's with 11in of travel in front and 12 in rear + FOX 2.0 bump stops. The other video is of me hitting the jump in Barstow

I've recently installed the rock krawler pro-x rear cradle so I can eliminate my track bar and was just romping on it over the weekend. It, along with the clayton lower control arms + teraflex front track bar really allowed for an incredibly smooth run in the desert. I did regear as the stock 3.73's didnt allow for enough torque in the desert, so I went with 4.56's so I can still get decent mileage.. Never needed a locker so not really worried about that now.

My point is the sport even with mopar lift works and jumps great. If you do some upgrades like I did you can definitely take on bigger and longer jumps with no issues...well aside from stability control freaking the hell out when you land.
