Installed some G2 1 3/4” spacers the other day to stop the slight rub I was getting on my lower control arms at full lock. Considering that these 17X8.5 AEV’s have an offset of +25 I think that they are now somewhere in the neighborhood of -18 or -19 offset when you consider the width of the spacer. The rub is gone, but so is the almost flush look I had. I’m thinking a 17x9 with 0 offset would probably be a perfect setup on a Sport S without the max tow option due to the fact the axels are 3/4” shorter on each side when compared to a max tow Sport or standard Rubicon so the wheels might be up for grabs in a few weeks.

***If you use the G2 Spacers you cannot use the OEM lugnuts (at least with these wheels) because they are too short so I had to purchase 1 1/2” lugnuts from my local go to guy @roadrunnersnj

What was the reason for trying the 1.75” spacer, rather than a narrower set? I’d think 1” spacers would be worth trying before selling the wheels.

To fit a 1” spacer (which would have been ideal btw) I would have had to have ground down or cut off the factory studs because they’re about 1 3/4” and have you seen how much it costs to replace 20 the studs with labor lately?

looking great and love the improvements. . . . but. . . . you're leasing (renting it). are you gonna give it back with the upgrades?

The only thing I probably won’t takeoff is the lift which is why I didn’t get a bigger budget one. I bought my last lease out, kept it for a year after that and then traded it in for this so you never now.

Bought some Diode Dynamics Clear LED Side Markers from @roadrunnersnj that I had a friend a @the_shop_inc install for me today. The quality of these lights is superb and the installation took less than 5 minutes a side with the only real pain in the neck being the location and the size of the small wiring harness plug. These are plug and play, error free, and best of all are made in the USA. I’ll be sure to post up when the switchback bulbs for the front turn signals that I ordered and are in that are supposed to be error free and require no resistors

You are correct, this kit does not level the truck and it maintains a little less rake than the factory.

Even though they are available on the Internet on many of the popular sites my dealer was insistent that all black weather mats were not available because they did not show up in the system however, after almost two months of arguing with the parts guy at my dealer (because they were included in my deal) about all black all weather mats (not the red trimmed ones) being available the manager Anthony @sansoneautonj made my day when he called today to tell me that my mats were in.

Attached is a photo the part number of these over engineered beauties should anyone else come across a similar situation at their dealer.

Finally picked up my stock wheels and tires that have been sitting at the shop since the installation of the 37’s.

Finally got rid of the silver ”Trail Rated” badge in favor of this ”Jeep Performance Parts” beauty that I purchased on eBay for about $24. Parked in the sun, came back in about an hour with some fishing line, a rag, and a little bIt of bug and tar remover and was done about 10 minutes later.

Please check pics for part number.

Watch me turn a $100 part into a $200 part real quick. Because occasionally my front tires rub on the lower air dam at full lock while on an incline I ordered this lower bumper skid plate from Rusty’s that tucks around the edges of the bumper mounts for a cleaner look under the factory plastic front bumper. Due to the fact that Rusty likes to advertise I dropped it off to my friend who is going to drill out and fill in the emblem and then send it out to be re powdered. #ocd #staytuned #rustysoffroad
