Trying to decide if I want to put the Mopar Trail Rails on or go with the Builtright. Like the side panels for the Builtright system but I have a trifold hard top with drain system near the cab and it looks like the Builtright panels might interfere. Anyone have any info they can offer on either system.

I have the builtright and they have worked great for me. The OEM ones look more polished but I just need the functionality. I do not have any first hand experience for your specific tonneau

Thanks yea not concerned about the looks since most times it would be covered up. I sent builtright an email to customer service to see if they could advise about that front panel and if it would interfere with the drain tubes. I like that the panels are sectional since I have a undercover swing box on the drivers side back so no panel would work there.

Not sure if this helps or not, but here's the BuiltRight rails with the JCR Offroad front MOLLE Panel for reference. The JCR panel mounts behind the rail as opposed to the BuiltRight that mounts to the rail.

I looked at my drain tubes and this panel setup would definitely affect things from what I could see

Ive been debating on trying to get a 90 degree elbow to mount to where the drain plugs drill through the bed. I think it would make the lines look better and cleaner. They might also clear that molle panels then

I just installed this one today and Molle Panel Solutions has put two cutouts in the bottom corners to allow for the drain tubes. You can choose whether to place them behind or in front. Best of all they are shipping very quickly!

Did you have to request the cutouts as I looked on their site and the panels they show don't seem to have that cutout unless I missed it

I would email them. The guys name is Alan and he is very easy to work with. Let him know you want the one with the two cutouts at the bottom for your Gladiator and you have the drain tubes. He is good about responding to emails at the address provided on the site. [email protected]. If you do not have the rail system installed (I don’t have the rail) then be sure to pick up some 6M 1 inch 25s at your local hardware place to attach the top. The bottom attached under the existing D rings. FYI you may need extra 6M screws due to the difficulty of getting through the sprayed in bed liner. I stripped a few before getting them to go all the way in. If you have the rail system you will use the hardware that is already installed.
