They're very clever with their social media viral marketing. Still not sure I want all that steel hanging from my Gladiator (actually I am sure - I don't want it).
It is 3/16" steel plate (checked their description for their JL skid) and I agree with you; unless it was for a dedicated rock crawling rig, I'd prefer aluminum skids. They're very clever with their social media viral marketing. Yes, but you pay for that extra panel that covers the exhaust pipe. As I said, I don't see a lot of value in that and if I was going with their steel plates I'd ask about a price reduction for not having that under there. Moot point though...It is 3/16" steel plate (checked their description for their JL skid) and I agree with you; unless it was for a dedicated rock crawling rig, I'd prefer aluminum skids.
It is definitely the most complete belly protection I've seen thus far!
Sure. But (depending on what the cost of that plate would be) it would be nice to not have to worry about bashing your exhaust up. Not the end of the world if you do, but it would be one less thing to worry about when you're high-centered on a rock or fallen tree trunk. A completely flat belly would give some peace of mind.Yes, but you pay for that extra panel that covers the exhaust pipe. lol! Do I have to pay extra for the snake oil ?Plus, a smooth underside would improve aerodynamics and increase mpgs! <--- (sarcasm
Looks cool. Should be tough. I finished 4th in the contest but decided to pass due to cost and weight.I’m halfway done with the install on mine. Had them dropped off at power coating and picked them up this week. I’m waiting to get the new axles in, and then get the drive shafts in as I have to change t-case yokes and I’d rather have a little bit more room to work on it. Anyways here’s half installed, and the other half sitting on the table
