I will never forget when my then wife and I decided to go car shopping for a new car. I'd decided on an Eagle, so we drove to the AMC/Jeep/Eagle dealership in Mason City.
Oddly their Jeeps were all parked near the building but not a one of them had a snow plow on it. In the past, you would see a couple of Jeeps parked near the building with snow plows on them.
As I got closer I got a big surprise. There sat two Eagles, one a sedan, another a wagon, with the snow plows on them.
I asked what was up and the tech said the Eagle was better at snow plowing as it was a much better balanced vehicle and had better traction when plowing.
I would add that that would likely only be the case in certain years with that viscous coupling transfer case, the NP 119 or NP 129
