If it rattle's add some spacers and washers to take up slack with a bungy strap around jack and handle. That should fix rattling been there one of my Hi-Lift jacks is across rollbar in my LJ under the hardtop. You still might want to put rubber bump stop's at bottom of your bracket so it doesn't vibrate on paint and act like a tuning fork. And here she is all loaded up. I may take my Jack out and paint it orange.... or Not. Idk. I hope it all doesn’t rattle too much
Hi lift Jacks are great for a lot of things. I really don’t like to use them because they scare me a little. But mostly I have it now as a makeshift come along since I don’t have a winch... yet! It’s heavy and cumbersome but when you need it you need it.Nice going with your truck! Did you choose the Gobi as I did because it matches our NM dirt?
I like your jack and shovel mount in the bed, Im trying to decide on whether to buy or build myself, or whether I even want to carry the jack anymore. Regardless, I do need to figure out a mount for the big CO2 tank and fire extinguisher
Carry on good sir, I need some ideas to steal....
