Wanted to post a quick pic of my current solution for a canoe/kayak rack:
Rear rack is one of the pair from this set:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H2XQMFH
It's held down with these clamps from the same company, but I'm guessing most any rack clamps would work:

The front is pieced together from Thule parts. Basically ran across this link on etrailer.com which had almost everything I needed to know/order to do a single bar solution with the high (8") gutter-feet:

I had to substitute these knobs as they were out-of-stock on the listed ones, but these actually came with same-keyed locks in place, and were about $10 cheaper for the pair, so... "win" I think?

I didn't have a square bar long enough for the Jeep roof, so I added a single 96" load bar. I cut it down with a hacksaw after getting it mocked up. I think its about 68" now if I remember the measurements correctly, and it gives me bars out to about the middle of the side view mirrors. I'm sure the LB150's (65inch) would work if you have them already. Maybe shorter as well. Ill get a measurement between the feet if anyone wants to know exactly.

I haven't had a chance to load anything up, as I just beat the rain when snapping the pic. But I'll report back after I try carrying something. Seems to be solid enough. The Thule gutter foot is a pretty known quantity with the freedom top, so the only real question I have is with the clamped down rack. I'm not in love with how hard I need to clamp down on the plastic rail cover to get what I feel is a strong hold. I saw someone in another thread mention popping the cover off and putting in a piece of bar stock between the rail and cover for a more solid hold, and I might take a look at that idea this weekend.
If anyone has any questions, just holler...
