My rear seat delete

Built with aluminum diamond plate, over coated with Lizard Skin. Trap doors to access storage underneath as well as hardware storage bin. Lots of tie downs. Total cost was about $650 and a lot of hours, but well worth it.

Looks great! I see you put lashing eyelets on the hard top bolts as well? I'm looking to do the same but with a one piece top and open at the sides so I can access stuffed heavy tools/gear when the doors are open but they are secure when the doors are closed. Also considering doing a shelf mid-way so I can access lower boxes (Rubbermaid Action Packers) while having light duffles above)...

That looks awesome. Unfortunately I don’t see a rear seat delete in my near future but the dog does get pretty much whatever she wants so you never know.

I know this thread is really old , but wow! Nice work! This looks nicer than the Goose Gear production version. Theirs is wood coated with Line-X. You could sell this if you wanted to!

I didn’t have any written plans with the exception of measurements. I knew what I wanted and just built it. I made cardboard templets and had a local shop cut the floor out of 3/16 alum diamond plate. The supporting frame was made out of 1” square tube.
